I am a German painter whose practice explores the interplay between the human psyche, primordial instincts, and the environments that shape them. My large-scale paintings, often made on unstretched canvas and presented like historical tapestries, weave together classical figuration with spontaneous abstract mark-making.

 

Drawing on Renaissance and Baroque influences, I combine careful control with fluid, unpredictable pours of acrylic, setting up a dialogue between order and chaos. My work considers how the subconscious is entangled with the wider living world, as if humans, animals, and natural forces were all part of a single, interconnected system.

 

Through this lens, my paintings create immersive psychological landscapes where primordial urges and dream states collide with natural forces, revealing fragile connections that bind all living beings together.
